Welcome to our blog.

 In this blog, we are presenting our project and workload. The Capstone project is a project where Turku University of Applied Sciences is working with a company together on a specific project. Our group consist of 11 motivated students from different study fields. 
We are working with the company Renotech Oy. 
The company is developing, producing, marketing and importing innovative fire protection, acoustic and other construction products. Also, they have developed a new adsorbent material using ash, where our project is focused in. The product has a great potential, it could be a new cheap option for treating industrial wastewater. Also, the industry has a lot of ash amount, so there is a need to find innovation to use it. 

We are focusing to define existing standards, norms and operations guides. Than to make a market research and compare it also with other European countries. Also, our group is defining the adsorbent qualities and studying the optimal implementation. Next, we are identifying the characteristic.
